How I Work

Individual Therapy (for adults 18+)

I specialise in helping people who have depression, anxiety and self-confidence issues, and those experiencing bereavement and grief.

We will talk about what is going on right now in your life and how that might be connected to past events, relationships and early childhood experiences.

I will give you a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space in which to explore your feelings and difficulties.

The aim is to achieve either fundamental long-term shifts or address specific issues that are holding you back, so that you can live a more fulfilled life.

If you are interested, we will meet for an initial session. In this two-way meeting we can discuss what has brought you to counselling and decide together whether we would like to go forward.

If we decide to go ahead, we can think about whether brief counselling (e.g. 12 sessions) or open-ended therapy would be better for you. We will then meet for weekly 50-minute sessions. Sessions can be face-to-face or online.
